The Star Gold Coast

The Star Gold Coast hotel is located on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. It was opened in November 1985 and is the first casino in Queensland. The hotel consists of 592 rooms and covers an area of 65,000 square feet.

The hotel features the Jupiter Theater, which was renovated and expanded in 2012. The theater now has a seating capacity of 2,000 or 2,300 general admission patrons. The hotel complex also has eight bars, seven restaurants, meeting rooms, a ballroom, a health spa, a gym and a theater.

The Star Gold Coast hotel is managed by Star Entertainment Group. Gross gaming revenue from the casino is donated to the Gambling Community Charitable Trust, established in 1987 and supported by the Queensland Government.
